Ask anyone...
I am normally a very easy-going person. But today was simply unacceptable. Will and I decided to go have luch with the Hunter girls at Ruby Tuesday's today. We got there at around 12:45... We got our drinks at about, oh, 1:10... And if that seems strange, we didn't get our food til we had already spoken to a manager at 1:25... Of course, we were all pretty upset. But what made it worse was it seemed that the reason for such horrible service was a slight case of racism. Everyone around us was getting some service, but we were the only table of "caucasian persuasion." Who knows...maybe he was just having an off day. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But what I didn't and will not give him is a tip lol. Ok...that's about it. I just wanted to rant a little bit about the horrible service. Tata.........

That's Memphis for you. We run into that problem occasionally too. Very sad.
Well that stinks. When you think of "racism" you often think of black people being the target. In Memphis it's the other way around for some reason. That seemed to happen a lot at FedEx. I was the only young white woman on my crew of 50, and I did get picked on a lot, for one reason or another. I'll be glad when everyone understands that we're all human beings, with some variety in appearances so we don't get boring.
